4 FIREWORK WORTHY TAKEOUT SPOTS

Fourth of July might not feel the same this year without the festive fireworks and big family backyard (or park) BBQ. Luckily, there are a few casual dining spots open for take-out or outdoor dining that are sure to entice your taste buds. We can't promise a beautiful light show in the sky, but these four restaurants are sure to light up your taste buds. We think it's going to be a pretty sweet holiday weekend either way.

For the seafood lovers, City Island Lobster house is a MUST.

City Island Lobster House

691 Bridge St, The Bronx, NY

This kitschy nautical restaurant with picture-perfect waterfront dining located on The Bronx's beloved City Island is full of oceanic delights, and the folks here have perfected the steam lobster dinner- it makes for a real treat yourself take-out dinner from crab legs to lobster rolls and everything in-between. A must-try: Lobster Clambake Special! A Lobster House Original. Maine Lobster, mussels, baked clams, and clam chowder, complete with a sweet treat, an ice cream cake roll. All orders come with their famous sweet blueberry bread, what's more summery than that?

For land and/or sea lovers Artie's Steak and Seafood Restaurant has something to please the whole fam!

Artie's Steak and Seafood Restaurant

394 City Island Ave, The Bronx, NY

This City Island eatery brings its seafood A-game to the table with menu items like Shellfish Jambalaya, BBQ Ribs and Fried Shrimp, Blackened Mahi-Mahi, and Miso Crusted Chilean Sea Bass. If you're not a seafood lover, have no fear, their menu is full of meaty and vegetarian options to please a crowd with Italian-America favorites like Chicken Parm, Eggplant Parm, and a selection of steaks made to order.

For the BBQ Lovers! Hudson Smokehouse is one of Mott Haven's newest dining spots.

Hudson Smokehouse

37 Bruckner Blvd, The Bronx, NY

Hudson Smokehouse is offering their full menu for take-out or delivery, and we think some sweet and smoky ribs makes for the perfect Fourth of July fare. The menu boasts a large selection of smoked meats with their signature rub from half-chickens to brisket and pork shoulder. Complete the meal with creamy mac n' cheese, sweet baked beans, coleslaw, and tender cornbread. It sounds like a party to us!

For a little Latin-flare check out Havana Café.

Havana Café

3151 E Tremont Ave, The Bronx, NY

1247 Castle Hill Ave, The Bronx, NY

Both of the Havana Café locations are offering free curbside pick up or delivery, and we're pretty pumped about it, because what's a festive summer night without a little Cuban flavor. A must-try? The Family Deal! one whole rotisserie chicken and your choice of three family-style sides, like arroz con gandules, maduros, tostones, steamed yuca with onions, yellow rice, or coconut rice. And add a side of Avocado Shrimp Ceviche, you won't regret it.
